About The Hope Arc
I'm a Christian who loves stories. I made The Hope Arc to bridge the stories we love in anime with our own — which I believe is part of the greatest story ever told.
Art and story are divine gifts. Anime in particular is one of the most compelling mediums I know — it doesn't shy away from death, sacrifice, the weight of being human, or the longing for something better. It binds all of that into experiences that stick with you long after the credits roll. I've spent years watching it and noticing that the things that hit hardest always seem to point somewhere.
I believe they point toward Jesus. After all other stories end, there remains one final arc — the Hope Arc. Victory over pain, loss, and death, found only in Christ. This site exists to explore that connection honestly, with genuine love for the medium and genuine faith in the one its stories point to.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
