Finding hope
through the stories we love
Exploring what anime reveals about hope, redemption, and the human condition.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

I'm just a guy who's a hero for fun. The real hero is Jesus Christ.
Hailing from the PNW, Sailor Moon Crystal was her gateway drug that lured into the dungeons of anime, where she caught the weeb disease and now lives happily infected with a love for anime. She enjoys sub and dub, and has recently begun her decent into cosplay, attending every convention that comes her way. She has been a faithful follower of Christ for 23 years, and now desires to share the love of Jesus through the lens of anime. When shes not watching anime or writing about anime, you can most often find her reading manga or manhwa, learning about wine, or traveling. You can find her creating anime content on her channel The Ruby Danger on YouTube, or @TheRubyDanger on Instagram.
